Came Knocking

Pure beauty and substance knocked, but fear and timidity didn’t open up
Now here lies the door wide opened and all there is, is silence and absence
Oh courage, Oh boldness, if only you were rather allowed to open that door,
Oh fear why? Oh nervousness why? Why didn’t you give way for confidence?

Panic and tension, you were to bid goodbye, farewell, never to return again, but why?
Why do you come and cause such a loss? A loss which might never be regained
Splendour and brilliance were for grasp, but you indecision! You never permitted
Now all is but gone! Maybe forever! You won’t be allowed again fear! NEVER!
